The April 8 total solar eclipse will be fully visible from parts of Pennsylvania. For WPSU’s Wonders of the Night Sky series, Chris Palma, Teaching Professor of Astronomy at Penn State, tells you what you need to know to safely watch the eclipse and where to go if you want to see “totality.” While central Pennsylvania isn’t in the path of totality, the sun will be nearly covered if you don’t want to drive to Erie.
