Prove your humanity

Wild Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania is home to rich biodiversity, huge swaths of forests and thousands of miles of streams and rivers. But not all is well in Penn’s Woods. Roads, pipelines, and homes fragment forests. Pollution from farms, roads and lawns runs into streams. Dams and culverts make it difficult for fish to navigate. Climate change and invasive species threaten our native species.

Our reporters are traveling throughout the region to talk to the scientists, conservation groups and everyday people working to save wildlife and habitats in Pennsylvania. Stay tuned.
